Dirty Dozen Confirmed From Queensland
NASR National Office posted Wednesday October 28, 2009.
Since the Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series began, Queensland has been the dominant force in the competition. No other state is yet to produce a series winner or provide as many drivers in the championship chase. The domination of Queensland drivers is the result of a thriving state competition that attracts strong support from competitors, spectators and track operators alike. With as many as 30 cars regularly in attendance at local series rounds, the level of competition is intense every week, which serves as the ideal preparation for those drivers chasing the NSSS championship.
Subsequently, the Queensland rounds of the series almost always attract the biggest fields and provide some of the fiercest competition for the NSSS contracted stars. The strength of the Queensland Super Sedan scene – both in quality and quantity – is unprecedented and this is reflected amongst the contracted driver line-up chasing the 2009/2010 Carline National Super Sedan Series crown. Queensland is sending a dozen of their best into battle – including defending series Darren Kane and former champ Michael Doblo - with 12 drivers from all parts of the sunshine state having secured their place amongst the 25 contracted drivers confirmed thus far.
