It was only a few short years ago that the Super Sedan scene in South Australia was languishing somewhat in both car numbers and racing opportunities. However, since the arrival of the Carline National Super Sedan Series and the hard work and commitment of the local club and the fantastic support of John Dawson, the category is flourishing again across the state, including the JD Couriers Super Sedan Series and the re-emergence of blue ribbon events such as the Fireball Derby.

With the Australian Super Sedan Championship to be decided in Adelaide this season, it would be a terrific coup for the host state to secure victory in the Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series in the lead-up to the title. Leaving no stone unturned in their quest for success, South Australia will be sending their quickest quartet of Super Sedan hotshots into battle, with Dave Gartner, Bill Miller, Shane Best and Dan Miller chasing the Carline NSSS crown.
