NSSS Series Awards

Carline Mufflers Series Champion | The Highest point scorer of the year wins $7,000 plus a trophy.  Second place in the series receives $3,500 and trophy, while third receives $2,500 and trophy.

Speedway Australia Silver Tray Award | Award presented to the driver who is judged to have continuously committed to the series in a sporting manner through adversity and hard luck.

John Leslight Driver's Driver | At the end of series all contracted drivers vote on a 3, 2, 1 basis to select the driver they most respect as a fellow competitor.

Best & Fairest | The Chief Steward in consultation with the NSSS Management Team allocate points on a 3, 2, 1 basis at each round to drivers judged to be the best and fairest.  The driver who accumulates most votes throughout series wins $1,000 while second placed driver receives a new shock absorber from Shock Doctor.

Crew Chief Of The Year | Series Technical Officer in consultation with the NSSS Management Team allocates points on 3, 2, 1 basis to best Crew Chief at each round with the Crew Chief accumulating most points winning the award.

Elf Racing Methanol Rookie Of The Year | Rookie of the Year recognises the best performance by a driver contesting all rounds of the series for the first time.  Any driver who has not previously contested more that 50% of the NSSS schedule in a previous season is eligible for this award.

Manufacturer's Award | Points will be awarded on a 3, 2, 1 basis to the manufacturers of the chassis of the first three placegetters in the feature race of each round.  The manufacturer accumulating the most points through the series will be awarded the trophy.

Supercharge Batteries Hard Charger Award | The driver who passes most cars in all A Main feature races will receive $500 and a trophy.

Oval Express Magazine Best Presented Car & Crew Award | The NSSS Management Team selects the best presented car and crew at the end of the series.  The winner receives the Oval Express award consisting of a full page colour ‘Expressions’ on the winner with a minimum of 1,000 run-ons posters for advertising/autograph purposes.   The value of this contribution is a minimum of $1,250

AFCO Shock Doctor Lucky 7s | The driver who finishes in 7th place in the A Main Feature Race at each round will secure a ticket in an end of series draw. At the draw after the Grand Final, the winning driver will win n Pro Shocks Adjustable Shock Absorber valued at $575.
